Greek "Maxi Paper Mill" to build a paper mill in Jagodina
Preliminary agreement is already reached, while the official one will occur in 15 days when a delegation of this company comes to Jagodina, said Jagodina Assembly president Dragan Markovic.
- Preliminary agreement was reached on 12 June during the visit of political and economical delegation of Jagodina to this company, and through several meetings in previous three days – told Markovic.
The paper mill would be built in industrial area, where two Italian factories already operate, while one Italian and one Russian are in the process of construction and would employ about 200 workers, said Markovic.
- There is no such a factory in Serbia and we will arrange a meeting of Serbian retail chains with the representatives of ’’Maxi Mill’’, in order to discuss business cooperation – added Markovic.
"Maxi Mill" company exports to 12 world countries, while its annual turnover was EUR 45 million during past year, said Vasilios Papadopulos, CEO of the company, at his visit to Jagodina.
Apart from ’’Maxi Mill’’ company, the entrepreneurs visited ’’Olimp’’ as well, a company for olive processing an olive oil production. This company exports 65% of its production and its annual turnover is about EUR 150 million.
