"Capital Group" opened a factory for wool felt hat bodies, capelines and hat production in Ruma

(At the opening) "Capital Group" factory in Ruma has opened a modern technology plant for wool felt hat bodies, capeline and hat production. 112 latest technology plants value RSD 101 million, where RSD 42 million was provided by the Province’s Government, through Provincial Secretariat for Science and Technological Development.

President of the Government of AP Vojvodina, Bojan Pajtic, and Vice-President of the Government and Provincial Secretary for Science and Technological Development, Dragoslav Petrovic, opened the factory.

- New "Capital Group" plant will employ 42 workers directly in the production process, while 30 employees will be employed through various cooperations – said Pajtic, noting that by virtue of small and medium enterprises Vojvodina has 6,729 less unemployed people in May this year than at the same time last year.

"Capital Group" company is founded in 2006 with idea of wool felt hat body, capeline and hat production. The new plant in Ruma, covering an area of 1,560 m2, comprises production and storage area and the office space. Building is equipped with modern machines for wool felt hat body production, as a main production line of the new factory. "Capital Group" will be the fourth company of this type in Europe, considering the fact that this is a unique production in Serbia and the region, while there are three more similar factories in Europe, in Czech Republic, Poland and Portugal.

Production in Ruma is based on the tradition of "Begej" factory in Zrenjanin, improved with modern technology for wool dying and processing. This type of production is not only important for exports to Germany and Austria, but also for cattle and sheep breeding development, because natural wool is used as a raw material.

The owner of the "Capital Group" Milan Komnenic and President of Ruma Municipality Dragan Panic were present at the opening, as well.
