Dunav minerali discover 547 million tons of copper and gold in Medvedja
Dunav minerali which is exploring copper and gold in Tulare in Medvedja municipality, has announced today that there are 547 million tons of ore in Kiseljak and Yellow Creek deposits.
- These deposits contain 0, 22 grams per tons of gold and 0,23 percentage of copper. It is je 1,26 mil tons of copper and 120 tons of gold – the Exploration Manager, Phil Fox, said for the Beta agency.
He explained that in generation of the report for Kiseljak, limit metal content was used based on the assumption that open pit exploitation will be carried out while underground one was planned for Yellow Creek.
- Since the results are encouraging, we will continue with economic estimations, study on environmental impact assessment, technological and metallurgical studies as well as social studies. Preliminary results can be expected by the end of the year– Fox announced.
Dunav minerali is registered in Serbia with Canadian capital and employs 30 people.
