Beograd na vodi company established

The Serbian government today established the limited liability company Beograd na vodi (Belgrade Waterfront) which will be in charge of all the work on the regeneration of the Sava River banks between the Branko Bridge and the Belgrade Fair.

The Belgrade Waterfront project will be unveiled tomorrow in Belgrade by the UAE company Eagle Hills that will share the responsibility for its implementation with the Serbian government.

Eagle Hills plans to invest EUR 3.1 billion in the Belgrade Waterfront project. Works should commence in the spring 2015, and the plan is to build about 2 million square meters of residential and office space, towers 210 meters tall, and a shopping center.

The project will be implemented in three phases and most of it should be completed by 2020.
