Excellent opportunity for export – 16 Serbian companies commenced production under patronage of "Metro Cash & Carry"

Company "Metro Cash & Carry" has commenced the production of articles with its own trademarks in Serbia. In that business it currently cooperates with 16 domestic manufacturers which produce 59 articles.

Of 200 private trademarks in "Metro Cash & Carry" system, two such trademarks - "Aro" and "Metro Quality" - are produced in Serbia since 2006 - said the spokesperson of "Metro" Jelena Popović. She explained that trademark "Aro" included various food and non-food products, while "Metro Quality" products were intended mainly for hoteal and restaurant keepers.

Domestic manufacturers, which cooperate with "Metro", has the chance to export their products into distributive centers of that company on three world continents. At the moment, there are five domestic companies that export 15 articles.
