Assembly confirms agreement with UAE on visa cancellation

On July 3, the Assembly of Serbia confirmed the agreement of the Government of Serbia and UAE on cancellation of visas for diplomatic and official passports as well as a number of other contracts.

Yesterday, presenting in the Parliament the agreement of the Government of Serbia and UAE on cancellation of visas for diplomatic and official passports, the Minister of Defense of Serbia, Branislav Gasic, estimated it will contribute to the enforcement of the economic and political cooperation between the two countries.

The republic members confirmed also the Contract on changes and amendments of the financial contract between Serbia and the European Investment Bank (EIB) which refers to legislation improvement.

The Minister of Finance, Lazar Krstic, previously said that the law refers to the loan of Serbia from EIR for promotion of legislation bodies’ facilities and that the contract was ratified due to changes of the project which is a subject of it.

The Republic members of the parliament confirmed also today the Law on confirmation on the Contract between the Governments of Serbia and Armenia on double taxing cancellation.

In his explanation, Krstic said that the Law is one of the packages of the laws which we have been adopting as of 2011 with all the countries ready for it to facilitate companies’ business.

Agreements between Serbia and Italy, Poland, Moldova and Azerbaijani in the defense field, as well as the agreement with Russia on military cooperation have also been ratified.
