Japanese business club established in Serbia
Representatives of Japanese companies that operate in Serbia have established the Japanese business club which should contribute to the improvement of economic relations between the two countries, the Embassy of Japan to Serbia announced in a release today.
- By connecting Japanese companies in Serbia, the club will allow for the exchange of information of mutual interest as well as joint activities in cooperation with the Government of Serbia and the society - said Japanese Ambassador Masafumi Kuroki.
The club will be chaired by Goran Pekez from Japan Tobacco International (JTI), who stressed that Japanese companies had made large investments in Serbia to date.
- The opening of this club will enable Japanese companies in Serbia to improve their operations and also encourage other potential Japanese investors to come to Serbia - said Pekez.
Members of the Japanese business club in Serbia are companies Astellas, Fujitsu, Itochu, JTI, Mitsubishi, Panasonic, Sony, Takeda, and Toyota.
