Montenegrin 068 network offered to "Telekom Srbija"

The Manager of Montenegrin Telecommunications Agency, Zoran Sekulić, announced that, prior to March 15, "Telekom Srbija" would be offered to form the new mobile telephony network 068 as the third mobile operator in Montenegro.

Sekulić said that, prior to the end of the month, the official rank-list of the bidders on the tender for introduction of the fast wireless Internet, among which Serbian company was favorite, would be announced.

The Consortium made of "Telekom Srbija" and Dutch "Ogalar BV" was the only one to apply for the tender for takeover of mobile telephony network 068 and it offered 16m EUR, while it offered the highest price for the license of one of the three wireless Internet providers - 1,050,000 EUR.

The following companies applied for the tender for providers: "Broadband Montenegro" from Podgorica, which offered 75,000 EUR for the license, American "Nexcom Telecommunication", with the offer of 180,000 EUR, and "T- mobile", with 172,000 EUR.
