Slovakian company "Slovarm" moves part of production to Serbia
Slovakian company "Slovarm", after many years of successful operations in our country, has officially opened its office in Serbia.
Although, for the time being, "Slovarm Beograd" deals only with sale of the articles from its own production, the Manager of that company, Vladimir Kisela, announced large investments and relocation of the part of production to the territory of Serbia.
Factory "Slovarm" was founded in 2000 and it deals with production of brass fittings for cold and hot water, distribution of steam, heating components, small fittings, components and regulation fittings.
- We are still thinking about the best solution for the production unit in Serbia. That project can be realized through both “Greenfield” and “Brownfield” investments. One of the more favorable solutions to us would be the procurement of the factory that already deals with similar activities, in order to obtain qualified manpower – said Vladimir Kisela for "Ekapija" and added that the factories in consideration were "Zvezda" from Kovin, "Istra" from Kula and "Krušik" from Valjevo.

- If we fail to buy some of these companies, the construction of the completely new factory can also be the solution – says our collocutor and points out that they have already taken into consideration the land in several industrial zones with completely organized infrastructure.
He also added that he expected that the production would start by the end of 2007.
