Talks on IKEA’s arrival to Serbia have stepped into a serious stage, the City Manager, Goran Vesic, says for B92.
According to Vesic, the first department stores of popular Swedish furniture producer could open in 2016.
IKEA is getting near to Serbia. Talks on the arrival of the Swedish have been lasting for years but now they have reached a serious stage, Goran Vesic says.
Swedish company representatives have been announcing they are planning to open a few sales places in Serbia for a couple of times but they point out they do not hurry with the arrival.

In late August, IKEA is opening the first department store near Zagreb. The fact that it took six years from the moment of land purchase to the department store opening proves that our neighbors did not do it easily. Zagreb-based IIKEA will be bigger than the ones in Graz or Budapest and Croatian department store, they say, should be cheaper than the one in Austria.
