Serbia listed as the food exporting country for Russia
Russia generated a list of new food products suppliers which will replace the countries under embargo, the Minister of Agriculture, Nikolai Fedorov, said for Russia 1 TV channel, Russian media report.
The minister said that fruit and vegetables will come from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. Food products from Turkey, Iran, Serbia, Egypt and Morocco will find their place at the shelves of Russian shops.
Minister Fedorov added that another big market for the Latin America countries such as Chile, Argentina, Ecuador, Paraguay and Peru will open. All these countries are ready to increase food products export to Russia. The minister ensures that Russian market has sufficient food products so their deficit or prices growth is not threatening.
