Construction of hall for Finish PKC starts in Smederevo- Completion by the end of 2014

Today, with the laying a cornerstone in Smederevo, the Finish producer of cable sets for commercial vehicles, PCK Group, started construction of the production section on 19.200 m2.
The Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, the mayor of Smederevo, Jasna Avramovic
and the company president at PKC Group, Mati Hjutiajnen, in the presence of the
Finish Ambassador, Pekka Orpan, laid a cornerstone.
A total of RSD 682m was set aside for the plant construction and Smederevo-based companies ‘consortium will be the
contractor. Some 350 people will be hired on construction works.
Deadline for completion is the end of the year.
At the moment, the Finish company employs 250 people and it has poured some EUR 3, 5 m so far.
The contract signed with PKC group implies that the company employs at least1.500
people and that PKC invests at least EUR 8,5 mil.
