Chinese JAC sends offer – More foreign companies interested in privatization of Zastava kamioni

Four of five important foreign companies are interested in privatization of Zastava kamioni (Zastava trucks). Chinese JAC motors with which Kragujevac-based plant has a Memorandum of cooperation, has also delivered the offer for strategic partnership to the Agency for privatization, Danas finds out.

Negotiations on partnership underway

In the middle of the summer, Zastava kamioni asked for the approval from the Agency for Privatization for the beginning of negotiations on strategic partnership with JAC motors and addressed other authorities as well, first of all the Government and the Minister of economy. Kragujevac-based plant says for Danas that they expect negotiations with the Chinese and other interested companies will start in the first half of October.
