MILETIC: Chamber system should be developed as Austrian and German

The acting president of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Milivoje Miletic, says that he will continue the way his former colleague now the minister of economy, Zeljko Sertic, started, outlining he will work on chamber system development.
Milivoje Miletic who was yesterday appointed the acting president of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, says that with new laws, development of chamber system is possible just like Austria and Germany did it.
When asked whether he would also recommend economic recovery measures which the Government is planning to carry out, Miletic estimated the package of measures as essential step”.
Speaking about privatization of 502 companies in restructuring, Miletic said the new law is flexible and that solution does not have to be only sale but also capital increase since there are no interested buyers in 170 firms.
New acting president of SCC says Serbian businessmen were partially ready to replace European producers at the Russian market but reminded Serbia can fulfill only a small portion of Russia’s needs.
In that sense, Miletic says, the Coordination center for cooperation with the Russian economy, will continue providing necessary information to local businessmen.
