China cancels bans on foreign investments
On Sunday, September 28, 2014, China announced that in the special zone of free trade in Shanghai, it will cancel limitations on foreign investments in a few fields – from green tea production to airplane motors.
New regulations govern 27 fields, airline industry and infrastructure among them.
Chinese Government announced that only some bans on investments of foreign companies having joint ventures with Chinese companies will go 49 to 51% or more.
In other fields, such as fast rails technology development, yachts or luxurious vessels, total foreign ownership will be allowed in Shanghai while companies must have a local partner when it comes to other parts of China.
