Fresenius pours EUR 16m into new Vrsac-based plant- Section to open November 17

New plant of multinational company,Fresenius, in the Technological plant in Vrsac, should open November 17. There s a huge interest for employment, eVršac.rs portal reports.
Mainly women work in Vrsac-based Fresenius and the average salary is RSD 63.000.
- Trust in our people was one of the key reasons why the leading company peopledecided to built a new plant in Vrsac and to pour more than EUR 16 m - VojislavBugarski, Production Manager for many years at Vrsac-based Fresenius says, eVršac.rsportal reports.
The new plant in Technological Park on 15.500 m2, was built in only 13 months. Atotal of 4.000 people applied for new vacancies at the plant for production of dialysisequipment which currently employs 675 people.
Assembling of three lines for production of artery-vein systems which wererelocated from the old department is in progress now and they will install thefourth as well until the final start.
- For the first time, we will produce in the new plant PD sets and in the nexttwo years we will install two lines more for production of artery-vein systemsand cassettes. It will provide job for 400 people more – Bugarski adds.
As it was announced, their long-term plan is to have 1.150 people.
New Vrsac-based Fresenius plant will be production-oriented so, apart from supplying patients in Serbia with dialysis equipment, it will launch itsproducts to the European market as well. When it starts functioning with its full capacity, the plant will produce artery-vein systems for more than 150.000 patients.
- Production of dialysis devices and concentration solutions is planned for domestic market while 95% of production of artery-vein systems is export-oriented. The same situation will be with the future PD sets production-Svetislav Puzic, Deputy Production Manager says, eVršac.rs reports.
