Russian billionaire to build giant sailboat hospital in Tunisia
Russian billionaire, Vasily Klyukin, which last year paid USD 1,5 m for flight
to universe with Leonardo Di Caprio, is planning to build a giant hospital in the shape of a
sailboat, Sky news reports.
He says he wants to build a hospital where “there is no place for fear ”after passing health checks for the upcoming
flight to space.
- I am flying to space next year. My
health condition must be checked every six months. Therefore I am very well
familiar with the feeling I have when I approach the white building of the clinics
and it is no feeling of joy - Klyukin says.
He outlined that his hospital and a spa “White wings ”in Tunisia will be “the most comfortable hospital in the world”.
- I would like to show you the hospital where there is no place for fear and I
would like my son to ask: “Dad, when will we visit the ship again?”– Klyukin said.
The complex will be built in the Tunisian economic town, in Enfidha, and the project totals
EUR 39 m.
The funds are already available thanks to participation of 50 donors and 30 countries, Daily mail points out.
The project of hospital construction was supported by the Saudi company, Lalei al Barkah Est, and Tornton Tomaseti is in charge for construction.
