Tender for Preparation of Documentation for Construction of Tower at Nis Airport Opens

The company Airports of Serbia (Aerodromi Srbije) has opened the tender for the preparation of the project-technical documentation for the construction of a tower at the Nis Constantine the Great Airport.

The construction of the facilities for the purposes of the Nis Airport Flight Control and the Airports of Serbia is planned considering that the existing control tower no longer meets either the current or the planned needs with its capacity, equipment and location.

Keeping in mind the current state and the number of the staff at the Training Center of the Airports of Serbia and the plans for the further development of the service level and said training center, the new facility should feature a section, that is, a floor that will be used for the purposes of the Training Center of the Airports of Serbia and the Local Airport Command Center of the Constantine the Great Airport in case of a state of emergency.

– All these things considered, a facility made of two independent parts should be planned, intended for the needs of two users, namely: SMATSA d.o.o. Belgrade, that is, its organizational unit Aerodromska Kontrola Letenja (AKL) Nis and the Airports of Serbia – the documentation says.

Bids may be submitted by April 1.
