Old Sugar Factory in Cukarica is up for sale - Starting price EUR 5.8 million

The Bankruptcy Supervision Agency has announced the sale of the Old Sugar Factory in Cukarica, Belgrade.

The Agency, as the bankruptcy trustee of the bankruptcy debtor "DP Prva srpska fabrika secera Dimitrije Tucović 1898" from Belgrade, Radnicka street no. 3, put up for sale the immovable property of the bankrupt debtor by the method of public bidding, at an initial price of RSD 680.7 million (around EUR 5.8 million).

The object of sale is a property unit consisting of construction facilities located at Radnicka no. 3: office building, family residential building - discount store with apartments, digestion building, main hall and cutting hall, ramen warehouse, adjacent building, Andonovic warehouse, beet collection building, ramen drying area, garage, caissons for molasses and fuel oil, fire station with a garage for a locomotive, a pumping station for dirty industrial water, a transshipment station for molasses, a scale, a porter's office "near Jugopetrol" and a potential right to the land (according to the co-usage share of the bankrupt debtor) at the location Radnicka no. 3, with the right of use in favor of "AD Industrija spirita i kvasca Vrenje Beograd".

The public tender will be held on June 11 at noon, at the official address of the Bankruptcy Supervision Agency in Belgrade.

The ad also notes that the property for sale is located within the building complex of the "Sugar Factory" cultural monument.

It also states that, in the event that the Republic of Serbia, as the holder of the right of pre-emption in accordance with the Law on Cultural Heritage, uses that right and accepts the price reached at the public auction, the purchase contract will be concluded with the Republic of Serbia in that case, and the deposits will be returned participants of the public tender.
