Neven Kujacic, oral surgeon - Every patient is a new challenge

(Neven Kujacic) When you have been successful for 36 years in stomatology, happy family with four kids, enviable sports career, you know that you succeeded in life and that effort and work has not been in vain. Doctor Neven Kujacic can outline that kind of a resume and as he says the key to a success is that he searches for pleasure into everything he does.

Oral surgeon, doctor Neven Kujacic, speaks for eKapija on his growing up and life in Belgrade, starts in career, music sport and family.

Although he was born in Sarajevo, Neven Kujacic relates his childhood and teenage age for Belgrade. A collocutor of eKapija new then what he will do in life. He did not look upon his mother who was a teacher and he did not move along his father’s way who was an engineer but he saw his career in stomatology.

- Since I was five, I knew I would be a stomatology doctor and if I were born for thousand times again, I would do the same. Therefore, I enrolled in high school for dental medicine so that I would be closer to dental chair – Kujacic remembers.

He remembers Belgrade from that period as a metropolis which enabled development in all segments of youth.

It all started in Mazestik

Today a renowned expert, he studied and graduated at the Faculty of Stomatology in Belgrade and he spent his entire working years at Mazestik policlinic which is a part of the Stari grad Health Center.

Work as relaxation

At the Faculty of Stomatology in Belgrade, he specialized in oral surgery with excellent grade and he specialized in oral implants field.

- With all problems oral surgery brings, I would never change the field. Every patient is a new challenge and brings new success. You have very difficult days but you are satisfied when ended successfully. If your are indolent, then there is no pleasure. When you see a satisfied patient, then you are also satisfied.

Although he works with very delicate field in stomatology, Kujacic says work relaxes him.

With extensive effort and work, Kujacic does not neglect physical activity either. Since he was an active sportsman, he is active today as well. Our collocutor went in for kayak and was equally successful as he is in his stomatology career.

Family – greatest joy

Although he enjoys his work, doctor Kujacic finds the greatest joy in family. Since he is a father of four kids, he outlines his house is always full of joy and they are never bored. Since his wife is also a dental medicine doctor, the oldest daughter went her parents’ steps and she is now at the third year of stomatology studies.

For his focus on work, Kujacic admits he missed some moments in family life. As a famous doctor outlines, he has always had understanding of his wife and kids who make him a happy man.
