Japanese helped rehabilitation of Sumice sports center

The Government of Japan donated more than EUR 41.000 for rehabilitation of sports center Sumice for reconstruction of roof and main hall floor. The minister of youth and sport, Vanja Udovicic and the ambassador of Japan, Masafumi Kuroki, attended the official opening and toured rehabilitated part of the center.

The minister said that the Center for Culture Sumice is returning to the roads of its old glory when it used to shape numerous generations of young Belgrade citizens.

Including this donation, total amount of donation of the Japanese government to Serbia in the field of culture and sport totals more than EUR 2,5 , and total economic support of the Government of Japan totals more than EUR 460 m.
