Faced with the grave consequences of the earthquake in Kraljevo, Austrian Ambassador to Belgrade Clemens Koja and Commercial Advisor at the Embassy of Austria, Andreas Haidenthaler invited Austrian companies in Serbia to support the victims in Kraljevo.
To this call many Austrian companies responded, such as "Alukönigstahl"," Dm-drogerie market "," Doppelmayr "," Eglo Lighting "," GfK "," Neofyton-Engel, "OMV", "Podgorina Frucht", Raiffeisen Bank, S-Leasing, the UNIQA insurance, Vip mobile, Volksbank and Wiener Städtische insurance, which for a short time collected and sent to Kraljevo more than 114,000 euros of money or material assistance.
In the age when consequences of the global economic crisis are still felt, we hope to have contributed a bit to lessen the suffering of the people, it was said in a statement of the Austrian Embassy.
Kraljevo donations and revenuea from the stand at the Christmas bazaar of Austria, organized by the International Women's Club, ment for charitable projects, and on which Austria is traditionally one of the leading participants in the amount of collected funds, are a sign of solidarity between those Austrian Companies with people of Serbia which particularly need help.
