Announced sale of ruined Leskovac-based Dubocica hotel

Leskovac) Runed Dubocica hotel at the center of Leskovac last week did not get new owner since at the auction the only bidder was Nebojsa Djordjevic, the owner of local trade Expert.

Djordjevic paid RSD 8.796.043 and it is obvious that he will appear at the next auction.

- I want to return an old sparkle to the hotel – Djordjevic said for Jugmedia portal.

Dubocica on 1.550 m2 is a part of shut down hotel-catering giant Balkan, whose majority owner is Belgrade-based BBC Invest. The auction is a result of a mortgage loan of EUR 420.000. It was estimated at RSD 88 m but the price can go down to 60% of the estimated value.

New auction will be released in 15 to 30 days.

Before the auction, there was a protest of sixty former employees and smaller shareholders at Balkan headed by Grujica Ivkovic estimated that privatization of this giant is actually “a robbery of a decade ”in Leskovac.
