New 6 companies in business zone "Mejug" in Sevojno

Jessie Bunch, the Manager of IRD for Serbia, Tihomir Petković, the Mayor of Municipality of Užice, and the representatives of six companies from Užice and Požega, signed the contract yesterday (May 18, 2007) on presence of these companies in business-zone "Mejug" in Sevojno, of which surface is one hectare.

According to the project, jointly financed by USAID, in the scope of CRDA Program (Community Revitalization through Democratic Action) and Municipality of Užice, nine parcels in that zone have been equipped and rented on 99 years, under very favorable terms, for construction of business facilities of companies Unitrag, Aerofrut, Did, Elzing-inženjering, Sinteza from Užice and Tojo from Požega.

These companies participated in the tender and their obligation is to hire five new workers each. Total value of the project is 240,000 USD, 180,000 USD of which were provided through CRDA program, whereas the rest of the money was provided by Municipality of Užice.
