MIHAJLOVIC: New one-time Legalization Law in June

Serbian Construction, Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Zorana Mihajlovic said today that the new, one-time law on legalization of facilities was under preparation.

- We expect a draft law to be ready in June as a solution to the problem of about 1.5 million illegally built facilities in Serbia - Mihajlovic told the press.

She added that a version of the land conversion law that should be adopted in June had been agreed upon.

As she explained, that law is now being publicly discussed and it is expected to be determined by the Government this month and then adopted by MPs.

The minister stressed that that law was agreed upon with the European Commission and that it would be adopted along with the Law on Survey and Cadastre.
