Residential loans number on the increase
In Serbia,
in the first half this year, there has been an increase in residential loans
number, president of the Managing Board of the Real estate Cluster, Nenad Djordjevic
and stated he expects that solving of conversion issue will boost construction
activity and activate attractive locations which are abandoned now.
He said that however the real estate market has not been undergoing anything
spectacular since it has been stagnating still despite there has been an
increase in number of residential loans with majority of banks in Serbia.
He thinks that the increase in residential loans number has been affected by a stable
exchange rare and the fact that there is no psychosis that something drastic
will happen in the next period – regardless of the fact that dinar is declining
or that creditworthy citizens are afraid of employment rate increase i.e. that
their salaries will decrease or they will lose their job.
