Rajiceva shopping mall and hotel to host guests by the end of 2017 - Israeli pour EUR 80 m, 40% of shops in modern complex in the center of Belgrade already booked
The major of Belgrade, Sinisa Mali, also toured the works in the company of the
project initiator Meir Avitala from Israel and Zahi Boneh, the head at ABD and
project manager.
As communicated, this Israeli company owned by Asthrom Group totals EUR 80 m
and will enable hire to 300-400 people in the construction stage and after
shopping mall and hotel opening there will be 400 new vacancies.
(Works on Rajiceva complex) The
project of construction of modern hotel and a shopping mall Rajiceva, comprises
underground and ground structure on app. 58.000 m2. The first project stage
comprises construction of three underground parking levels which will provide
500 public parking places in the city center, construction of shopping mall
with unique offer of leading fashion brands and a modern hotel.
As Zahi Boneh said for eKapija, the head of ABD
and the project manager, the hotel will in the first stage have 110-120 rooms
while in the second the capacities will double.
Unique project for its architecture will be the first modern shopping mall in the center of Belgrade and the only shopping mall at the main pedestrian zone and two years before the opening, almost 40% of the shops have been rented at the future shopping mall! This sales facility will apart from department stores, have a supermarket, restaurants and cafes.
Architecture solution of the project is the result of the first awarded work of
Milan and Vladimir Lojanica and special contribution
to the shopping mall construction is the fact that solely local sub-contractors,
local branch offices of Strabag, Novkol, Gemax , Koto, Lever, Elektroizgradnja
and others among them.
(Future Rajiceva)– I believe this is the biggest Israeli investment in Serbia since EUR 80 m will be poured in this facility. During current works, 100.000 cubic enters of ground have been extracted and some 30.000 cubic meters of concrete and 4.500 tons of steel have been –Boneh said who outlined diligence of more than 300 employees who have been hired on these works at the moment.
Works on the Rajiceva complex construction have been delayed for a few times
since 2003 when the trolleybus turnaround have been dislocated. Unsolved property
issues at the lot, archeological researches and project funding issues have
been numbered as the main trouble spots. Finally, September last year it was
announced the works started.
Construction of the Rajiceva complex and future
hotel is managed by ABD set up by
Israeli Ashtrom Group and Belgrade-based
Avital. The investor is Ashtrom International one of the leading Israeli companies
in construction and real estate management and project initiator is Meir Avital
from Israel.
