MALI: Serbia to get the first IKEA department store by the end of 2016

The mayor of Belgrade, Sinisa Mali, visited on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 the stand of the IKEA company at the International Furniture Fair at Belgrade fair and then said that the first IKEA department store will open in Serbia, in Belgrade by the end of the year.

By the end of the nextyear, the first IKEA department store inSerbia will open in Belgrade so this visit is an excellent introduction forwhat is ahead of us. We understand the needs of foreign investors and help themin getting all necessary permits as soon as possible so that they could investtheir funds in our city, Mali said.

Mali discussed withVladislav Lalic, head of development of the company and Dejan Zurovec, projectmanager, about this huge investment and collocutors agreed it is a veryimportant news for Belgrade, it was added in the announcement.

The mayor then touredthe Simpo company GM Sladjan Disic, the company stand as well which for thefirst time after 27 years is exhibiting at the International Furniture Fair inBelgrade.
