One more ski lift at Mount Zlatar - Zlatarski biseri hotel opens December 24th

The ski resort Brijezdje at Mount Zlatar is ready to welcome the upcoming season with numerous novelties.

- We have prepared two recreational ski trails and installed a lift with a capacity of 800 skiers per hour. Connecting two points 400 meters away from each other, this T-bar lift will serve both recreational ski runs. One of them has 1,000 meters in length, whereas the other is about 450 meters long - Salih Turkmanovic, the head of Brijezdja Ski Resort, told the daily Glas zapadne Srbije, adding that Zlatar would thus have two lifts and three ski runs with a total length of about 4 kilometers.

- What is very important is that we are not going to change the price of ski pass from the last year, meaning it will be kept at RSD 600 per day, because we believe it is a price affordable to all - he said.
There is also a new restaurant with 400 seats on the ski trail, featuring suites for rent on the top floor.

- The calendar season will be opened December 20th, but we will also use artificial snow if the weather allows - said Turkmanovic.
In addition to all these novelties, Zlatar will also obtain one more hotel this year - Zlatarski biseri, which is situated at Babica Hill, in the former location of Prvi Maj restaurant.

- The hotel has 70 beds of high category. Ceremonious opening is expected to take place December 24th, and the hotel is already fully booked by February - Vojko Puric, the hotel owner, said and added that accommodation was quite affordable and that Full Board at the hotel cost RSD 3,000.
