Belgrade is becoming more attractive for investors - Contracts on construction of over 566.000 m2 office, residential space and public purpose facilities signed
City manager, Goran Vesic, said that in the past two years, Belgrade again became the city of cranes which means there are investments and construction in our capital.
He outlined that more than 80% office buildings is built in three municipalities,
a shopping center in Palilula in Visnjicka street on almost 45.000 m2, then office facility in
Borca on over 12.000 m2, while Novi Beograd sees construction of office
facilities on almost 80.000 m2.
Apart from that, IKEA is starting building facility on almost 40.000 m2.
City manager said that production facilities are mainly built in municipalities
on the outskirts such as Mladenovac, Sopot, Grocka and Obrenovac, and they are
mainly cold storages, warehouses and other economic facilities.
Vesic said that one of the most important tasks of current administration of the city of Belgrade when it received the citizens’ trust is to bring investors back to the city, local or foreign ones, small or big ones, and that construction starts again in our city.
