Lidl is starting construction of four sales facilities in Serbia

(Illustration) German retail chain Lidl began the construction of four facilities: in Vojislav Ilic street in Belgrade, in Bor, Zrenjanin and Sabac, and completion date is October 1st 2016, eKapija finds out.

The following projects are in the pipeline across Serbia, the next wave of construction starts during this summer.

Belgrade-based construction company Koto is building Lidl in Bor.

Vladimir Vrtikapa from that company told for Beta that the Lidl facility will expand on a plot of 8,000 m2, while sales area occuipies ​​2,600 square meters.


According to him, in the starting stage dozen workers will be hired, and that number will jump up to ten times when the works near the end.

Lidl already has sales facility in Smederevo, and apart from Bor it is currently building shops in Belgrade and Zrenjanin.
