New investments in Bogatic – Construction of residential area at Thermal Riviera starts
The Macva area, especially around the municipality of Bogatic, is famous for being one of the richest geothermal water sites in Europe, taking into consideration the depth of drilling, the amount of wellsprings and the water temperature. The Thermal Riviera has operated in Bogatic for two years. In includes pools and restaurants, and the construction of a residential area has begun recently.
The Thermal Riviera was founded in 2008 with the aim of researching and exploiting geothermal energy and building a modern tourist and recreation center. In 2014, the first guests visited the water attractions with geothermal water, whose temperature is 70°C at the spring, which enables the complex to be open 365 days of the year.
In order to meet the demands of an increasingly large number of tourists to stay in Bogatic for a few days, the construction of a residential area within the complex has started.
The residential complex will contain 100 houses of four types. Each one will have around 52 m2 of floor area, but they will differ in room arrangement and, slightly, in the exterior. Each house will be built on a 350 m2 area of land, with enough room for a garden and a parking space.
– The construction of the first 30 apartments has entered the final stage and the finishing works are being performed at the moment. The promotional sale starts in September. The company Beodrvo Line is the investor and the company Big Building is the contractor – says the founder and the owner of Thermal Riviera, Ljubisa Dragovic, for eKapija.
As he explains, the analyses they've carried out show that the investment would pay off in 6 years, if the apartments were to be leased for a minimum number of days in a year.
– The company for leasing, maintaining and securing the buildings will be founded soon. There will be a guardhouse, a manual barrier and a maintenance service, which means that the owners will only rest at their apartments, with the possibility of leasing them to other tourists when they're not there. The promotional sales start in September and the prices range from EUR 26,000 to 32,000. The sale includes a plot of land with the house through a turnkey system.
