Public invitation announced for selection of co-investor for construction of tourist complex "Jabučko ravnište" on Stara Planina mountain

Ministry of Economy and Regional Development has announced the public invitation for selection of co-investor for construction of tourist complex "Jabučko ravnište" on Stara Planina mountain.

The public invitation has been published in Belgrade's daily newspaper "Politika" and in "Financial Times", and deadline for submission of letters of interest is July 1st.

This complex will include hotel, sports-recreation, traffic, power supply and public utility infrastructure, and the hotel management will be left to the investor.

The condition is that potential investor implemented at least five investment projects worth 150m EUR over the past three years.

It is necessary that the investor has good experts in the company for hotel management activities or letter of intent with well-known name, as well as required experience with similar tourism projects.

Following the submission of statements, the list of those who will be invited to participate in the tender will be made.

According to some earlier announcement, the first phase of works should start at the beginning of the next year and finished prior to year 2010, and projected investments in that phase amount to about 250m EUR.
