Construction of Kalemegdan Park residential complex current again – Three luxury buildings to be raised in exclusive location in Belgrade
The construction of a residential complex in one of the most exclusive locations in Belgrade, on the parcel between the Tadeusa Koscuska, Cincar Jankova, Cara Urosa and Uzun Mirkova Streets is current again.
A new urban plan has been prepared for the complex in close proximity to Kalemegdan, which has been waiting to be realized for a decade now, and the document, which was under public review on July 18 through 25, envisages the construction of three facilities – A, B and C.
Kalemegdan Park Apartments, as the complex was known nearly ten years ago, was first supposed to be built by Hypo Consultants, which was then sold to MPC Properties. In 2008, this company announced that EUR 30 million would be invested in the construction of the complex. However, once the preparatory works had been completed in this elite location, the project stalled, leaving the fenced plot in the center of the city to wait for better days.

The urban project of the residential complex, now known as Kalemegdan Park, was prepared by Bureau Partners. As stated, the facilities will have a ground floor and six floors, more precisely, four underground levels, a ground floor, five floors and a loft. The underground section is supposed to contain garages, the ground floor should house outlets, whereas luxurious apartments are to be located on the six floors.
There were speculations in the media that the complex would have units A and B, and the third facility has now been presented – unit C. The urban project now cites Kalemegdan Park d.o.o. as the investor. According to the Business Registers Agency, Kalemegdan Park was registered on November 23, 2005, and Thomas H. Villadsen, CEO of MPC Properties, is registered as the legal representative of the company.
It was reported previously that the future owners would also be provided with a pool, saunas, a fitness gym, a reception hall, 24-hour security...
