Wellness center in Prolom Banja opens - EUR 1,5 m invested (PHOTO)

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of trade, tourism and telecommunications Rasim Ljajic opened a new wellness center on Wednesday (August 30, 2017) at the Radan hotel in Prolom Banje, which covers four thousand square meters.

In the construction of the Planinka Kuršumlija wellness center, owned by the Radan hotel,

EUR 1.5m was invested.

- There are rare examples that companies use their assets to enrich tourist offer not only of their company, but of entire Toplice region. Therefore, we want this to be a model, to show that tourism and tourist transport can be further invested in infrastructure and therefore to be more competitive - the minister said on the opening of a new wellness center in Prolom Banja.

He expressed belief that even better results in Prolom Banja will be achieved in the coming years, especially in terms of the number of foreign guests, it was stated by the the Ministry.

- Already now, compared to previous year, we have 80% increase in the number of overnight stays, which is certainly an indication of potential and possibilities of this spa - the minister concluded.

Director of the Tourist Organization of Serbia Marija Labovic reminded that the number of vouchers issued ranks Prolom banja the first in Serbia and that only this year seven thousand citizens used voucher in this spa, which is 10% of the total number of issued ones.
