Ulcinj to get Holiday Village hotel in May 2018
Representatives of Karisma Hotels Adriatic MNE have announced the opening of a new hotel, Holiday Village, in May 2018, in the HTP Ulcinj Riviera complex, which they have leased from the Montenegrin government.
As previously reported, Karisma leased the complex consisting of hotels Olympic, Bellevue (annexes Cer, Borik and Avala), a restaurant and other accompanying features.
The director of the newly founded company Karisma Hotels Adriatic MNE, Nemanja Kostic, explained that it was one of the brands of the German partner TUI Group. He pointed out that the group operated in nine countries, had 8,500 employees and 2.7 million tourists a year, with annual revenues standing at USD 400 million.
The first phase of the realization of the project is the opening of the hotels in reconstructed facilities of Ulcinj Riviera, and the construction of the new hotel, with sports features, four pools and other features, is expected to follow. As announced, the new hotel will be expanded gradually.
Kostic also said that Ulcinj, with Velika Plaza and Ada Bojana, was the biggest development potential in Montenegro and Europe.
– We started with Ruza Vjetrova, where we are achieving good results. Our next step is Holiday Village in Velika Plaza. We will employ another 100 people and Ulcinj Riviera will get 600 rooms – Kostic said.
Minister of Tourism of Montenegro Pavle Radulovic said that the job was important not just for Ulcinj Riviera, its workers and Ulcinj itself, but for Montenegro as a whole, and that the investor would invest EUR 16 million in the first three years and no less than EUR 31 million in total.
