State mansions returned to Dipos
State-owned mansions were taken away from the Property Directorate of the Republic of Serbia and returned back to the fund of the property leasing association Dipos at the session of the Government of Serbia held on December 21, Blic learns.
Around 122 facilities were returned to Dipos, according to Blic's findings.
– By the decision adopted by the Government, the Property Directorate obliges to return all the documentation related to the facilities, as well as the keys, within 15 days. Of course, the rent paid will be transferred to Dipos, and the decision does not pertain to the mansions which have already been sold – the Blic source says.
State mansions, 149 of them, were taken away from Dipos in November 2016, and handed over to the Property Directorate. A total of 17 luxurious facilities have been sold.
– The list included mansions in the Diplomatic Colony, as well as in the Beogradskog Bataljona Street and the Cakarska Street. It was expected for the property to be sold under market conditions and in a fully transparent manner, but this didn't happen – the Blic source says.
Neither Jovan Vorkapic, the director of the Property Directorate, nor Djoko Krivokapic, the director of Dipos, have responded to Blic's questions.
