Government of Montenegro invited investors to apply for lease of "Bigovo"

Montenegrin Government has invited international investors today (November 20, 2008) to submit bids for long-term lease of Military-Tourist Complex "Bigovo" - Trašte prior to February 20, 2009.

All interested investors should have financial capacities and experience in planning, development, marketing and management of exclusive, ecologically sensitive and economically profitable tourist complexes.

"Bigovo" should be rented on period of 30 years. The investor should have it turned into unique high-class tourist complex.

Participants in the tender should enclose the banking guarantee worth 420,000 EUR with the bid. The consortiums with two or more members that are formed before or after the purchase of tender documentation are free to bid on the tender.

Potential bidder from a multimember consortium should have the capital of minimum 100m EUR or he must prove that he achieved positive net financial result in each of the last three years.

Total turnover achieved by the interested bidder in the last three years must amount to 200m EUR or more.

The letters of intent for the lease of Military complex "Bigovo" have already been sent by two companies from Spain and Austria.

The official interest in "Bigovo", on the preliminary tender, was expressed by company "Robert Placzek Holding" from Vienna and consulting company MH from Spain in partnership with company "Barcelo Hotels&Resorts".
