Nis opens public call for construction of aquapark in Lozni Kalem location
The Secretariat of the Property-Legal Affairs of the City Administration of Nis has placed an ad for the alienation of undeveloped construction land owned by the City of Nis for the purpose of the construction of a sports and recreation facility – aquapark in in the Lozni Kalem location in Niska Banja. The initial price is one dinar.
Within the first phase of the General Regulation Plan for this area, the potential investor should build, on an area of 5.4 hectares, an aquapark with at least 7 pools with waterslides in both the indoor and the outdoor sections, as well as other features for children and a spa and wellness complex. Also, one of the conditions is for the investor to permanently employ at least 40 workers, to maintain the number of employees over a five-year period and to have the number of employees reach at least 80 for a certain amount of time during the summer season. Another obligation of the potential investor is to invest at least EUR 9 million in the assets and to obtain the documentation necessary for the construction of the facility in line with the regulations, to prepare the urban project and secure the connections to the utility infrastructure. Also, the potential investor should submit a banking guarantee in the amount of the market value of the land, issued by a bank registered as a joint-stock company headquartered in the Republic of Serbia and authorized by the National Bank of Serbia, within 30 days of the signing of the agreement on the alienation of the land.
The bidder must include a proof of the deposit payment in the amount of 20% of the total market value of cadaster parcels. Eligible bidders are all legal and natural persons. Incomplete bids and bids sent after the deadline will be rejected.
The information kit about the location can be obtained at the first floor of the City Administration of Nis, at the Secretariat of the Property-Legal Affairs, office number 21, each work day, from 7.30 am till 3.30 pm, and bids are sent to the same address.
The Local Economic Development Office invites potential investors to apply. The bid submission and deposit payment deadline is December 10.
