"Mr. Bricolage" to build first hypermarket in Serbia – 9m EUR worth of trade center in Niš
- "Mr.Bricolage", French "do-it-yourself" hypermarket chain, will start construction of the first retail facility in Serbia on June 16th in Niš, and that trade center worth 9m EUR will be finished prior to November 2009 - "Brico Spec" announced.
The facility at 5,800 square meters represents the first in the series of investments of company "Brico Spec" in Serbian market, which is 100% owned by French-Bulgarian company "Doverie Brico AD". The company plans to open another five facilities in Serbia, as well as to expand its operations to the markets of Macedonia and Montenegro.
"Mr. Bricolage" with 1m square meters of retail space is among the world's four largest hypermarket chains and it operates through the network of 527 stores. Its offer includes over 40,000 articles for organization of home and garden. Group "Mr.Bricolage" employs about 11,000 people around the world.
"The company has built a recognizable name and earned the trust of clients through continuous and long-term cooperation with its partners, which is also the case with company "Doverie Brico AD" that operates in the market of Bulgaria through the chain of 10 hypermarkets", it is stated in the announcement.
