Montenegrin Prime Minister Milo Đukanović announced today (October 27, 2009) the construction of new hotels and other facilities with 40,000 beds on mountains Bjelasica and Komovi.

Đukanović said at the meeting of the Parliament of Montenegro that the draft spatial plan would be finished in 2009.

Đukanović said that the development preferences for Bjelasica and Komovi did not represent any declaration.

- We can count on serious investors - said Đukanović and added that new ski tracks, ethno villages and holiday hostels would be built on Bjelasica and Komovi.

He also said that the summer camps on those mountains would be refurbished, with the aim of their complete tourist and general economic valorization.
