Still no purchasers for Progres company premises – Third sale advertised
Progres has advertised the sale of the company's immovable property, through the method of public bidding, for the third time. Up for sale are the facilities located within the Progres building in Zmaj Jovina Street in Belgrade, in the Kneza Mihaila Street pedestrian zone, and the property is split into eight lots.
The most valuable facility is a gallery of 751.73 m2, whose initial price is around EUR 5.27 million. Also up for sale are the Business Club and other business premises at Palata Progres. More information about this tender can be found HERE.
Also, Progres has advertised the sale of the eponymous technical center in Krnjaca, whose initial price is EUR 11.5 million. The company is also selling the co-ownership share of 45/100 aliquot parts of ownership rights over a gas station in Krnjaca, at the initial price of EUR 815,230.17. The prices have been reduced compared to the first attempt at a sale and are the same as at the second sale. Public bidding is scheduled for December 11, 2019, at noon.
Let us remind that, after the first sale was announced this June, Deputy Mayor of Belgrade Goran Vesic invited Progres to give up on the sale of the Progres gallery in Kneza Mihaila Street and pointed out that that space should remain an art gallery. He announced that the City of Belgrade would immediately initiate the process of having the gallery protected by imposing a ban on the change of purpose of that space.
The sale of immovable property is carried out in line with the PPRP, in order to repay the debts towards the creditors. The PPRP came into effect on March 6, 2019, under the decision of the Appellate Court.
Veljko Ilic, the contact person, says for eKapija that there is an interest in the premises of Progres.
– There are interested parties, but people are still deliberating, probably because of the price – Ilic said.
