"Mercator" bought Trade center "Roda" in New Belgrade for 32m EUR

- "Mercator-S" has bought Trade center "Roda" in New Belgrade for 32m EUR and, thus, continued investing in development of its retail network in Serbia - people from that company told "Beta" agency.

"Mercator-S", the company that deals with retail and wholesale trade on the territory of Serbia, was previously the tenant of the office space in New Belgrade's Đorđa Stanojevića Street, and it had the priority in purchase.

Merkator-S is now the owner of the retail facility at 23,000 square meters with over 30 outlets and nearly 800 parking places.

The tenants in that facility are "Roda Megamarket", "Intersport", "Modiana" and other stores of the manufacturers of textile, technology, clothing and footwear.

Since the beginning of the year, "Merkator-S" has invested over 36m EUR in opening 15 new retail facilities, including "Roda center" in Šabac, number of "Roda markets" in Sombor and "Roda supermarket" in Belgrade.
