Agreement signed for construction of indoor swimming pool in Pirot - Bathing resort worth 5 million euros

An indoor swimming pool in Pirot will be built within next two years and it will cost 5 million euros.

The agreement on construction of the indoor swimming pool in Pirot was signed today by Serbian Minister of Youth and Sport Snezana Samardzic-Markovic, Pirot Mayor Vladan Vasic, and Development Fund's representative Goranka Petkovic.

The swimming pool is a part of the programme for stimulation of the construction industry of Serbia so that 80% of the funds will be provided from the loan of the Development Fund, 10% will be given by the Government and 10% by the municipality of Pirot. The loan will be repaid during the next five years by the Government and the municipality, 50% of the money each.

Pirot Mayor Vladan Vasic estimated that the swimming pool was very important for Pirot. The agreement was signed in the presence of Minister of Economy Mladjan Dinkic.
