Ratko Mitrovic, Monterra and Bankovic to build apartments in Vozdovac - First contractors selected for works on Stepa Stepanovic housing project
- The companies Ratko Mitrovic, Monterra and Bankovic have been selected to construct the first 490 apartments on the land of former Stepa Stepanovic barracks in Vozdovac - eKapija learns from the Building Directorate of Serbia.
As people at the Directorate announced, the works should official commence on Monday, November 1.
Ratko Mitrovic from Belgrade will be working on the relocation of sewerage and the construction of a drainage system, and that company has also been selected to construct two facilities on lot 7 in the location of Stepa Stepanovic, eKapija learns.
Belgrade-based Monterra has been entrusted with the construction of two facilities on lot 6, while another two facilities on that lot will be built by Bankovic company from Crna Trava.
- The companies that have got the jobs now will not be hired for the future phases of the construction of apartments because the idea is that as many companies as possible take part in the construction works in the location of former barracks in Vozdovac – people at the Building Directorate of Serbia told eKapija.
According to some earlier data, 10,000 citizens have already applied for the procurement of 5,000 apartments from the Government's cheap residential development project.
Maximum possible price per square meter is EUR 1,290 and it will be determined next week if the price of square meter in this location will be offered for sale at lower price.
