Silver Star elite complex, comprising two towers, hotel, suites and spa center, to become new center of Kopaonik mountain
When Silver Star complex is built in few years, the tourist center of Kopaonik mountain will most certainly move toward Brus. Construction of a magnificent 90-are complex is planned to commence as early as in mid-2012 at the boundary between Rendara and Srebrnac in Kriva Reka.
This elite complex, modeled after world-renowned ski centers, will be unique in our country. On the left side of Kopaonik-Brus road, after Srebrnac hotel, two towers, a hotel, seven suites, five business facilities, a central square with a fountain, and a green area, occupying 30 percent of the entire lot, will be built.
Marijana Azdejkovic, town planner in the municipal management of Brus, told eKapija that the public insight into the urban design had been finished, that there had been no objections, and that the works could commence in May 2012, as soon as all the necessary permits were collected.
- The indoor area of the complex will span a total of 16,372 square meters. The central facility will be used by the hotel and it will be arch-shaped, meaning that rooms will not be of regular shape. Exclusively ecological materials will be used - stone, wood and glass - while the roof will be covered by shingle or tegola. There will be a 100-square-meter fountain at the central square, while deciduous and coniferous trees and shrubs will be planted in the green area - our interlocutor announced.
The author of this extremely contemporary and ecologically harmonized architectural solution is Belgrade-based Enter-IT architecture bureau, while the investor is Dejan Rosic.
The greatest attraction, in the opinion of our interlocutor, will be a six-floor glass tower where stores, exclusive restaurants, coffee shops, wellness and spa centers, a casino and betting shops will be situated. Next to the big tower, there will also be a small three-floor tower - belvedere, where presentations, seminars and other events of the kind will be held.
The intention is that business facilities be used for accommodation of athletes, delegations and children's excursions, while the suite complex will comprise 40 luxury units.
There will be 5 roads going through the complex, the largest of which will be 460 meters long and 5 meters wide. There will also a parking lot for 200 vehicles, as well as underground garages for cars, spanning 4,570 square meters.
According to our interlocutor, locations Srebrnac and Rendara are very attractive. Srebrnac is already sold out - the biggest lessee is the Belgian company Veolia, and the interest in Rendara is huge as well.
