Royal Drina hotel in Mali Zvornik opens in mid-May 2011
Royal Drina hotel in Mali Zvornik, the only hotel in that municipality, will receive its first guests in mid-May in four luxury suites named after tributaries of the Drina river - Piva, Tara, Godina, and Bistrica. The reconstructed hotel Jezero, spanning 2,000 square meters, will also comprise 35 rooms, a restaurant, a cafe and pizzeria, a store, and a reception room.
- The hotel is situated between the Drina river and Zvornik Lake. Reconstruction works on the former hotel commenced in September 2010. We expect to receive the first guests soon and we have already prepared a special offer for them. Rooms, kitchen, restaurant and reception desk have been completely renovated. The hotel will soon employ 40 people – Royal Drina PR Manager Danijela Radic announced for eKapija.
She said that the total value of the hotel reconstruction was RSD 30 million.
- Funds for the reconstruction works were provided from a loan of the Development Fund of the Mali Zvornik municipality and loans granted by national banks, as well as from the sources of the project investor Infofin – said Ms. Radic.
The author of the hotel reconstruction project is architect Gojko Grbic from PIN Architecture Bureau. Other companies that took part in the hotel reconstruction are Vodoprom Loznica, Euroimpex, Zico upholstery shop, Ingrad, and Mermeri Radic.
