Republic of Srpska and Serbia to build shopping center in Russia
Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska (RS) Aleksandar Dzombic spoke on Friday in Banjaluka with President of the Serbian Union of Employers Miodrag Nikolic about the construction of a joint shopping center in Russia.
They announced that that cash-and-carry center, with an offer comprising products made in Serbia and RS, should be built in the Vladimir region until the end of 2012.
Dzombic said that RS could offer significant amount of fruits and vegetables and other goods to the market of Russia, adding that the idea to open a joint shopping center with Serbia was economically significant for RS, which was the reason why the Government of RS would support it.
- It is not a problem for us to hold a minority stake in one such company, or even to share that stake with Serbia, and to let the private initiative manage that center - Dzombic stressed.
This investment is worth EUR 2.5 million.
