Reopening of Srebrnac hotel on Kopaonik, Zelenkada hotel on Zlatibor scheduled for 30 December 2011
Hotels Srebrnac on Kopaonik mountain and Zelenkada on Zlatibor mountain, operating as part of PTT Ugostiteljstvo, will be reopened on December 30th.
PTT Ugostiteljstvo was first privatized and then returned to the state's possession after the unsuccessful privatization. The state now holds a 85-percent stake in that company.
According to the words of Slobodan Unkovic, representative of the state's stake, the company has been out of work over the last two years, 80 employees have accepted a social program provided by the government, while 40 workers have managed to preserve these hotels and facilitate their reopening.
- We plan to do some additional renovation work, as well as to implement energy-saving projects utilizing new technologies. My obligation is to preserve that company and prepare it for further restructuring and privatization processes - says Unkovic.
Srebrnac is still primarily intended for young skiers, whereas Zelenkada is more of a hotel for recreational athletes.
The price for seven nights' half board at Srebrnac hotel on Kopaonik mountain is RSD 14,000, which can be paid in three installments.
