Luksic Grupa invests EUR 22 million in Laguna Parentium

Parentium hotel, which has been for decades in the spotlight of the offer of Porec-based Plava Laguna, owned by Luksic Grupa, will shine in new splendor in few months. Namely, Porec-based Laguna has started the reconstruction of Parentium, one of its most famous and oldest hotels, it was announced on the website www.remax.hr.

It is the biggest investment by this company in 2012, and it is also the largest in the tourist sector of Istra. According to the words of Development Director Damir Mendica, the investment is worth EUR 22 million, and Laguna Parentium will have 4+ stars after the thorough reconstruction.

As Mendica explains, the physical dimensions of the hotel will remain the same, but the accommodation capacity will be reduced from 666 to 538 beds because the rooms will be expanded. In line with the higher category requirements, the hotel will feature spacious rooms, whose size will average 28 square meters.

Laguna Parentium will be intended for relaxation and enjoyment, offering a broad variety of services both during and outside the season, because the company intends to keep the hotel open the whole year long.

The project author is Zoran Balog, and the documentation has been prepared by Zagreb-based Agroinzenjering. The hotel is expected to open early July. The future facility will comprise a congress center, welness and fitness facilities, two swimming pools and three restaurants, and everything will serve the purpose of enabling the guests to enjoy the beauty of the nature surrounding the hotel, which is situated on the very coast, in Porec's Green Lagoon.
